The Border Model BT-047 Sherman M4A1 Mid in 1/35 scale is a detailed model kit of the American World War II M4A1 Sherman medium tank in a 'mid production' version. The M4A1 Sherman was one of the most recognizable tanks used by the Allies, distinguished by its rounded hull cast from a single piece of steel, which was unusual compared to other versions.

  • Hull: The model depicts the M4A1 with a cast, rounded hull, distinguishing this version from other Shermans that had a welded construction. The cast hull gave the vehicle a distinctive look and was easier to mass produce.
